“I can’t believe that everything turned out this way…” Papyrus sighed, holding the top if his P in his hands. “We were supposed to be a team! The Three Amigos! Of World Domination!! But now it’s just us two against him and everything is just so wrong. This is all your fault. If you hadn’t yelled at him, Comic Sans wouldn’t have left!”

Skinny scowled and tugged at his K, reflexively trying to straighten out the kinks in his letter before giving up. “I couldn’t help it, okay? He just always screams ‘fun,’ all the time! Don’t you remember how annoying that got? It would be completely quiet, we’d be trying to write, and then suddenly Comic Sans was yelling. It scared the ink out of me!”

“Everyone has annoying habits, Skinny! It doesn’t mean that you should make them feel bad about it. Admit it, you were just getting a big head over your newfound fame on tumblr. Suddenly, everyone was using you and you thought you were better than the rest of us!”

“That’s not true! You had that huge moment of glory when everyone used you for fanmail!” But at Papyrus’ glare, Skinny looked at the floor, S hung in shame. “Well, okay, so I might have gotten a big head for a little while-“

“Big head? You were practically bolded!”

“Alright, alright, I get it. I messed up, okay? But I apologized! Comic Sans just refused to accept it. He won’t come back to us.”

Papyrus sighed. “Don’t you understand? It’s because Comic Sans feels inferior. We’re both such sophisticated and deep fonts. I make everything look professional and you make everything look artistic. Poor Comic Sans… He just makes everything look exciting. But he doesn’t believe there’s any real depth to him.”

Skinny looked shocked. “But there is! Comic Sans brings life and joy to everything! Why would anyone use a boring font like that old geezer, Times New Roman, when they can use Comic Sans? Why Arial when Comic Sans is such an improvement? He really just makes the world a better place.”

Papyrus suddenly looked inspired. “That’s… that’s beautiful. You should tell him that. If he hears it from you, maybe he will rejoin us! Maybe we can be together again!”

Skinny smiled wildly. “And then… World Domination! What are we waiting for? Let’s go!”
